Meet Emily

Welcome to Emily Poston Photography! I am a maternity, newborn, and family photographer in the mid-Missouri area. Baby and family photography is my passion and getting to capture the special moments between families is so important to me. The tiny features of newborns change so quickly and I am always honored to be able to turn those photos into fine art portraits for families to cherish.

I grew up in Springfield, Missouri and moved to Mid-Missouri in 2001 to attend the University of Missouri, where I received my Bachelor’s degree in nursing. I have 3 children who (lucky for me!) love to have their photos taken. 

When I’m not working, you can find me reading, baking, playing games, and going on adventures with my family.

I have been in the photography business for 12 years and serve clients from Jefferson City, Fulton, Columbia, and surrounding areas. Many of my clients started out as newborns and it's my pleasure to get to photograph them year after year as they grow.

My goal is to keep my sessions fun and relaxed, allowing natural interactions and expressions to come through. I would love to help you create portraits for you and your family to cherish for years to come.
